UTV Movies is a Hindi Movie channel based in India. The channel launched in the UK and Ireland on the 12th of December 2011. Due to legal issues over the UTV brand which was already in use by the Northern Irish broadcaster UTV. Instead the channel was named, UMP movies (UTV Motion Pictures) although the channels ident uses the UTV logo.
